Tyra brown b/f 1/27/1997 occurred: 4/17/2016, 0150 hours, at 4600 block of elmwood officers were dispatched to the 4600 block of elmwood on a reported shooting. At this location officers were directed to 4613 elmwood. At this location officers located numerous shell casing in the driveway. Further south on the block officers located numerous shell casings. They were also advised a shooting victim had been transported to a local hospital with a gunshot wound. The shooting victim was taken by private vehicle to research hospital where she died from her injuries. The kansas city missouri police department’s homicide unit is asking anyone with information to contact the tips hotline or the homicide unit 816-234-5043. Det.
