On january 29, 1989, the body of 15 year old mary kathleen grant (kathy) was discovered in a wooded area located off of west pasadena road near jumpers hole road in pasadena, maryland. The victim resided in the 200 block of vernon avenue, glen burnie, maryland and was a frequent runaway/hitchhiker. Ms. Grant was last seen on january 9, 1989 as she was supposed to go to an apartment in americana circle but never arrived. The parents of ms. Grant reported her missing on january 19, 1989 with her body being discovered ten days later. Ms. Grant’s had sustained multiple injuries and her manner was ruled homicide.
