On october 2, 1997 the victim who was employed by lewis homes was checking a model home in the 3300 block of s. Mountain bluebird. He parked his pickup truck leaving the keys in the ignition, as he returned to his truck after only a few minutes absence, he observed a male suspect driving away in his truck. A witness observed the victim running behind the truck and finally grabbing the driver's outside mirror. The suspect continued to speed away in the truck and the victim lost his grasp of the mirror and fell beneath the wheels of the truck. The suspect drove over the victim, causing fatal injuries to the victim. The suspect abandoned the stolen truck a short time later at 9901 west sahara. The suspect was never identified.Agency
