On april 11, 1991, denver police officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 1100 block of south raritan street. Upon arrival officers discovered a total of four victims had been shot. Three of the four victims survived. The fourth, 18 year old sammy sanchez died as a result of the gunshot wounds he sustained.
