On january 18, 2013 at approximately 11:04 p.M. Aurora police officers responded to 2362 emporia street on a report of a shooting. The victim was located in the back bedroom of the residence suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was transported to the university hospital - aip where she was pronounced. Information indicated that there may have been some street gang/narcotics connections between the victim and a possible suspect.
