On the afternoon of november 7, 1974, members of the denver police department responded to the area of east 23rd avenue and clarkson street on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found 23 year old ronald betzer in a nearby alley. Ronald sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was immediately transported to a local hospital; he died a few hours later.
