On march 30, 2008, officers were called to an alley on the 200 block of inca street to assist on a report of a man down. Upon arrival, officers located 49 year old john chavez, who was suffering from significant head wounds. Due to the extensive injuries, mr. Chavez was immediately transported to a local hospital where he died as a result of the blunt force trauma he received to his skull.
