On april 14, 1980, 56 year old pearl ashworth and her mother, avis king, were found stabbed to death in their apartment located on the 1300 block of pearl street. Pearl was nearly blind, and her mother, avis, was completely blind. Pearl ashworth was taken to the hospital where she died later that day as a result of her injuries. Her mother avis king died 2 days later on april 16, 1980. Anyone with information regarding this case, is asked to please contact the denver police department.Agency
