The victim in this homicide was found by responding police officers after he made a 911 call asking for help. He was located on the floor of the vickers gas station/convenience store at 6601 west 44th ave in wheat ridge colorado during the early morning hours of july 8, 1987. The victim was the night clerk at the buisness and found near the cash register behind the counter. Money was missing from the cash register. The victim was transported to denver general medical center by helicopter where he died from an injury sustained from a gun shot wound while on the operating table. He was able to communicate to police before he succumbed to his injury. Anyone with information about this case, is asked to please contact the wheat ridge police department.
