At approximately 7:15 p.M., west precinct officers responded to 1528 warrior road (king’s foods) on report of a person shot. Officers arrived on the scene where they observed the victim lying unresponsive on the ground suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Birmingham fire and rescue personnel arrived on the scene and transported the victim to uab hospital where hospital staff pronounced the victim deceased. The preliminary investigation suggests that the victim was a customer inside of the business; once the victim exited the store, he was fired upon by more than one suspect.Agency
