Police were called about 10:21 a.M. On march 1, 1999, to the area of the 1900 block of texas avenue. A 20-year-old white female and a 22-year-old white male found a human head sitting on the walkway on the south end of the bridge, near the parking lot. The head belonged to a white male, and it had been severed at the neck. They immediately they called the police. After police arrived, they conducted a search of the area for the rest of the body. About 1:10 p.M. The victim's body was located east of the texas avenue location. The body was in the water about 3/4 of a mile away from where the head was found. Both scenes were processed, and police recovered a large amount of evidence.
