Pierce County Sheriff's detectives need your help to identify the suspect responsible for the murder of Madilin Butler, a 21 year-old woman from Tacoma. At 6:40 a.M. On August 21st, 1998, the body of victim Madilin Butler was found lying alongside the roadway in the 3100 block of 94th St. S. In Lakewood. Butler had been shot once by an unidentified suspect, and then her body was left on a dead end road near the Golden Lion Motel. Detectives were able to determine that Butler had been at the Golden Lion Motel prior to her death, where she was involved in prostitution activities. Detectives are looking for any information on the identity of the suspect responsible for Butler's murder.
