On august 21, 2021, at 2:22pm, officers were dispatched to the 700 block of south highland ave on a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim lying in the front yard suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim, 30yr old brandon slate was transported to grant medical center by medic #817 in critical condition. Despite receiving life saving medical treatment, the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 2:52pm.Agency
