On saturday, april 3, 2021 at approximately 12:28a.M., 17yr old christian caro was a passenger in a vehicle that had been driven to the area of 5673 larksdale drive. A companion in the vehicle was there to fight a resident at that address. As they approached the residence, someone in a black sedan with tinted windows rolled down the drivers side window and began firing a gun at the victim. The victim was struck in the head. The victims fled from the scene and were chased by the suspects vehicle southbound on galloway road. The suspect continued to fire at victims, striking the vehicle several more times. Franklin county deputies were initially flagged down and rendered aid to the victim until medics arrived. The victim was pronounced dead on october 8, 2021. On february 9, 2022, the montgomery county coroner's office ruled this case a homicide, due to the victim dying as a result of the injuries inflicted on april 3, 2021.
