On december 26, 2020 at 7:10 pm, patrol officers responded to the area of 80 s. Harris avenue to check a report of several gunshots heard and a person shot. Officers located 29yr old andrew merritt in front of 68 s. Harris avenue suffering from what appeared to be gunshot wounds. Mr. Merritt was transported to an area hospital where despite life saving measures, he was pronounced dead at 7:38 pm.Agency
