The richmond police department has identified the victim in monday’s homicide on east richmond road as surita m. Abdul-majid, a male in his 30s. At approximately 2:52 p.M., on monday, september 21, officers responded to the 3500 block of east richmond road for a report of gunfire. Once on scene, they found surita m. Abdul-majid inside a residence suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced at the scene. The medical examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.Agency
