In the early afternoon of september 25, 1980, vincent cascio came home at 3233 se 26th avenue from a shopping trip to find that his house had been burglarized, although there were no clear signs of forced entry. Vincent’s wife, 62 year-old caucasian female anne cascio, was found deceased lying on the floor of the basement near the washer and dryer. An autopsy found that mrs. Cascio had been killed by blunt force trauma to the head. Mrs. Cascio was last seen by her husband at noon when he left to go shopping. Mrs. Cascio had recently retired as a waitress from the lloyd center sheraton and was known by others to be religious and fiscally conservative. She had no criminal record and no known enemies.Agency
