On march 2, 1999, a patrol officer noticed two men running from a vacant field in front of an abandoned fire station located at 801 n. San marcos. The officer stopped the two men, who then said that they saw a dead person lying in the vacant lot. The two men were questioned and released, and did not appear to have any connection to the case. The officer then found the body of lisa lynn woods. It was obvious that lisa was murdered elsewhere and then dumped at this location. The autopsy by dr. Dana showed that lisa died from a gunshot wound to the head, and the manner of death was ruled a homicide. Lisa was a white female, and was 38 years old at the time of her death.Agency
