On november 23, 1990, james pennington, a 61-year-old building engineer, was discovered in an unoccupied office space at his workplace, located at 220 south king street. Pennington had severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. He had last been seen in the building at about 3:30 p.M. On november 21, 1990, and was expected home that night, but was not seen or heard from until his body was discovered.
