On january 12, 2002, melinda hobbs and derrick adams (24 yrs) were found stabbed in derricks home on riverview. Melinda had a passion for exotic animals and dreamed of becoming a marine biologist. Melinda had a way of making people laugh or smile, or just feel included, and wasn't afraid to use her goofiness or sporadic dance moves to accomplish this. She enjoyed singing and listening to music, especially any rap from too short and flava flav. Melinda was an excellent cook with collard greens being her specialty, and she loved roses.
