On December 18th, 1998, Tacoma Police responded to a call of two people arguing in the Tacoma Housing Authority's Salishan development in the 1700 block of East 40th Street. Witnesses reported an unidentified man arguing with and then chasing victim Linda Tran into her house. Moments later the house went up in flames, killing Linda Tran, her 9-year-old daughter Patricia, 1-year-old son Austin and Lindas unborn child.Agency
