Richmond police detectives are currently investigating a homicide that occurred earlier this evening on coalter street. At approximately 7:31 p.M. Officers responded to a report of a shooting in an apartment complex in the 1300 block of coalter street. Officers arrived and found an adult male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital with life threatening injuries. He succumbed to his injuries shortly after. An adult female was also self-transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The medical examiner will determine cause and manner of death.Agency
