Richmond police department detectives have identified the victim in saturday’s homicide in hillside court as sharmar hill, jr., 3, of the 1700 block of southlawn avenue. On saturday at approximately 4:09 p.M., richmond police department officers were called to the 1700 block of southlawn avenue for reports of random gunfire and for a report of a young male shot. Officers arrived and found hill, who had suffered an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injury. Detectives are currently investigating several incidents that occurred this weekend, near the homicide incident, and are asking the public to come forward with information: · on friday at approximately 9:58 p.M., officers were called to the 2400 block of columbia street for the report of a robbery/carjacking that occurred in the 2600 block of berwyn street. A female ride share driver reported two male customers brandished a firearm and robbed her of personal items. She fled on foot and the two males drove away in her newer model kia, white in color.
