On thursday, june 28, 2018, at approximately 11:28pm, the columbus division of police and medics responded to 307 s. Oakley avenue on a report of a shooting that had taken place. Upon arrival, officers found the victim, ernesto merida argueta, in the rear of the house suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Ernesto merida argueta was transported to mount carmel west hospital and was pronounced deceased at 11:45pm.
