On saturday, march 4, 2006, between 9:00pm and 7:00am, a homicide took place on park avenue. Joseph farkas was found lying on the roadway beside his black chevy pick-up truck in front of a wrecking and salvage business located at 375 w. Park ave. Investigators believe that mr. Farkas was forcibly removed from his apartment on dakota avenue and made to drive his truck to west park avenue where he was brutally murdered, which may have been the result of an altercation between him and the suspect(s). Joseph farkas died from a tremendous blow to the head which resulted in severe head injury.Agency
