1789 west 600 north, salt lake city. This is a residential area with single family homes. The victim was seated in the driver’s seat of a car he had borrowed from a room mate. He was shot while he was seated in the driver’s seat. Nicholas landa. The victim was a 26 year old mexican citizen living in salt lake city. He worked at a tire shop and worked early in the morning. He lived with a girlfriend that he referred to as his wife, and another roommate.The crime scene was in and near a car the victim had borrowed from his male roommate. Landa told the room mate he needed to borrow the car to go meet a girlfriend at 03:00. The girl reportedly lived in the area of 500 north redwood road. He borrowed the car and left very early in the morning. He was found deceased in the driver’s seat at 06:54 by people walking their dog in the neighborhood.
