Nicholas brown, age 26, was fatally shot in hartford on september 24, 2016. Nicholas was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds outside of 160 magnolia street in hartford and was taken to the hospital where he later died. At approximately 10:25 p.M. Police had been alerted by the "Shot spotter," an electronic system that detects possible gunfire. An autopsy identified a total of 18 gunshot wounds to the torso, head and extremities. Police recovered shell casings at the scene that had been fired from two different firearms, but no witnesses were located and no suspect has been identified.
