On the evening of november 14, 1980, 50 year old robert jackson was at the vickers gas station getting fuel for his vehicle. During this time, mr. Jackson became involved in an argument with an unknown male. The unknown male retrieved a handgun from his vehicle and shot mr. Jackson. The suspect then fled the area in his vehicle. Mr. Jackson was rushed to a local hospital, but died as a result of his injuries four days later.
