On 9/9/2014 tpd officers were assigned to assist tfd at a house fire located at 3504 w. Easton st. Upon arrival officers learned the burnt body of a deceased female was discovered in the residence. During the autopsy, blunt force trauma was observed about the head and her death was ruled a homicide. The victim was identified as 35-year-old christen marie welch.
