On january 31, 1999, 38 year old troy leyba was seen wrestling with an unknown person on the steps of the downtown denver rtd bus turn around center on colfax and broadway. Troy's body was later found on the steps of the nearby denver post building. He had been stabbed to death. Troy had worked as a bus driver, highway worker and air conditioner repair man. Troy would either walk or use the bus as his mode of transportation. Troy frequently had extra clothes in his possession and would provide the garments to the homeless community.
