On february 12, 1982, 36 year old carol elvin lived in her platte park home, which is situated near the intersections of east mexico avenue and south emerson street. She designed high end scrimshaw jewelry and worked out of her house she shared with a roommate. On the morning of february 12th, 1982 a friend came over to carol elvin's residence. Upon entering the home, carol elvin was found lying on the floor. She had been beaten to death by an unknown suspect(s).
