On the morning of november 20, 1979 mr. Holzberg was working at the villa monaco jewels jewelry store, which was located near the intersection of east iliff avenue and south monaco parkway. Witnesses stated a suspect, described only as a thin black male in his twenties, entered the store armed with a gun. A struggle ensued between the victim and suspect at which time mr. Holzberg was shot. Despite medical intervention, mr. Holzberg died of wounds sustained during the robbery.Agency
