On november 11, 1988 members of the denver and lakewood police departments responded to the area of west 6th avenue and sheridan blvd. On a report of a motor vehicle accident. The driver of the vehicle involved in the one-car accident was found to have sustained a gunshot wound. The victim was identified as 34 year old geoffrey cagle. Mr. Cagle was immediately transported to a local hospital but died shortly after arrival. Geoffrey cagle lived in the city lakewood and worked as a car salesman.
