On november 21, 2022, just before 8 pm, officers responded to atkinson st and reynolds st for the report of shots fired and a person down in the street. Officers located 12-year-old old juan lopez dead in front of 218 atkinson st. With multiple gunshot wounds. A 16-year-old was also shot and survived his injuries. Investigators developed a potential suspect, who has since been arrested for murder in the state of pennsylvania.
