On February 1, 1947, the victim was seen getting into a car near Collyer Park on Main Street in Pawtucket with a man who called out to the victim by name. Her body was later discovered in an area called “Lovers Lane” behind Slater Park. Her throat had been slashed and she had been stabbed over thirty times.
