On july 14th, 2005 approximately 0100 hours, the victim and a friend were sitting in a vehicle, within an apartment complex, located at 6806 n. 50th street (50th street just south of sligh avenue). An unknown black male, 5ft9, medium build, wearing dark clothing and a dark colored mask approached them. The suspect attempted to rob the victims of their money. The suspect then shot chad lynch in the upper torso, killing him. The suspect fled to an unknown destination. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call the hillsborough county sheriff's office homicide unit at (813) 247-8660.
