Between 10/16/81 7:15 a.M. And 10/17/81 10:30 a.M., dale curtis was shot with his own gun and three other shots were found to have been fired inside the residence. A revolver was found on the bed in the guest bedroom with the cylinder open and some of the shells ejected onto the bed. The residence had been ransacked, but valuable property was left behind. Dale curtis may have interrupted a burglary and it appeared that there was forced entry into the residence. Dale curtis may have been chased through the residence prior to the fatal shot being administered. The suspect(s) responsible for the murder of dale curtis have yet to be identified. Anyone with information regarding this case, is asked to please contact the aurora police department.
