On september 1, 1977, at about 1:00 p.M., boulder county sheriff deputies responded to a reported drowning in left hand creek, one and one half miles above buckingham park in left hand canyon. The body of christine jones had been found face down in the creek by her family, who went to find her after she did not return home from washing her car at the creek. She was found to have suffered a single gunshot wound to the back of her head. Anyone with information regarding this case, is asked to please contact the boulder county sheriff's office.Agency
