On january 20, 1949, 18 year old walter parsons was found on the side of the road by a couple driving up to the garden of the gods. An autopsy concluded that cause of death was strangulation and blunt force trauma. Mr. Parsons resided in a cabin just south of the red cloud inn, cascade, co. The owners of the inn employed him. A thorough search of mr. Parsons' residence did not turn up anything of evidentiary value.
