26 year old monique lasuer was working as the nighttime clerk and bookkeeper at the best western palmer house on the night of august 29, 2000. In the early morning hours on august 30, 2000, employees of the best western palmer house found monique lasuer deceased in the vicinity of the office portion of the hotel. The cause of death was strangulation with contributing injuries of blunt force trauma. Several potential suspects were interviewed and evaluated for involvement. The investigation into ms.
