On june 1, 1954, the colorado springs police department received a call to respond to south corona st., referencing the assault of two elderly people, alford norris and ms. Charolette norris, inside their residence. Both had been beaten, and transported to penrose hospital. Alford norris died as a result of his injuries on june 2, 1954.
