Info

On october 25, 1986, 55 year old barbara anson freyschlag was found murdered in her kitchen. Mrs. Freyschlag was likely killed in her upper skyway home during the night prior. Her husband found her sunday evening after he returned from a business trip. She had been shot at close range several times with a large-caliber weapon. Mrs. Freyschlag had gone to a party at the el paso club saturday evening and left alone. In the course of the investigation police found no indication of sexual assault, a struggle, robbery or even forced entry, nor did the house appear to have been ransacked. Friends said it was unlikely mrs. Freyschlag would have left doors unlocked. Investigators suspected the assailant either knew mrs. Freyschlag or had a key to the house.
