On september 17, 2017, at approximately 10:10 p.M., columbus police officers were called to the area of west broad street and north wheatland avenue on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, later identified as 18yr old benjamin isaac blackwell jr., in front of 2329 west broad street suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Cfd medic 17 responded to the scene and transported mr. Blackwell to mt. Carmel west hospital where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at 9:52 a.M. On september 18, 2017 by attending physicians.Agency
