On august 29, 1992, kenneth wells was exiting his vehicle with an associate on the 6100 block of ne 10th avenue at approximately 5:20 am when a vehicle with 4 to 5 unidentified occupants pulled up and began firing at kenneth and his associate. Kenneth, a 16-year-old african-american man, was hit multiple times and died at the scene. The vehicle involved in the shooting has been described as being a solid colored 4-door sedan and fled the scene driving northbound on ne 10th avenue. Investigators believe this shooting to be gang-related since kenneth wells was a known woodlawn park bloods associate.
