On january 29th, 2013 at about 6pm officers were called to 52 bartlett st for the report of shots fired. When officers arrived they found 48 year old karl brumfield dead on the front porch as the result of a gunshot wound. Mr. Brumfield was known to sell “loosies” (cigarettes) out of his house. Investigators believe more than one person may have been involved and that his shooting death may have been the result of a robbery.Agency
