Richmond police detectives have identified the victim in monday morning’s homicide as briana whittaker-oliver, 27, of richmond. Early monday morning at approximately 5:27 a.M., richmond police responded to the 3900 block of chamberlayne avenue for the report of random gunfire. Officers arrived and located an adult female, whittaker-oliver, down on the ground suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The medical examiner will determine cause and manner of death.Agency
