in the early morning hours of february 27, 1970, deputies responded to reddick’s super store located on sr 438 & sr 545 in tildenville, fl. Deputies arrived and found the victim, identified as jacob starling reddick a/k/a j.S. “shorty” reddick, suffering from shooting wounds. He later succumbed to his injuries. The victim was also the owner of the business where he was found.
