On september 28, 1976, members of the denver police department responded to the area of east 33rd avenue and cherry street to investigate a report of a male found inside of a vehicle deceased. During the initial investigation, it was determined that the victim, subsequently identified as forty-two year old benjamin chavez, had been shot to death. The suspect(s) responsible for the murder of mr. Chavez have yet to be identified. Anyone with information regarding this case, is asked to please contact the denver police department.Agency
