On june 15, 2003, department of corrections inmate william "Billy" henderson's body was found in his cell at the fremont correctional facility in canon city. Henderson had been serving a three year sentence for a sex-related crime and had been in prison for only 4 months when he was killed. It appears the scene was staged to look like a suicide.
