On september 9, 2014 at approximately 7:47 p.M,. The lvmpd dispatch received a 911 call regarding two males shot inside an apartment located in the 2800 block of east bonanza road. Patrol officers and medical personnel responded and discovered one male suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound and a second male; derrell carr, 23, to be the victim of a homicide. The preliminary investigation indicated five people were inside of the apartment when multiple shots were fired from outside of the unit.Agency
